Key Responsibilities\ N
Support the Director of Nursing/PIC in the overall management of the nursing home.\ N Lead and supervise the nursing team while promoting best clinical practice.\ N Ensure residents receive safe, high-quality, person-centred care.\ N Support compliance withHIQA standards, governance and quality initiatives.\ N Assist with staff supervision, mentoring and performance management.\ N Monitor clinical documentation, care planning and medication management.\ N Promote infection prevention, health and safety and safeguarding best practice.\ N Act as Person in Chargein the absence of the Director of Nursing.\ N
Requirements\ N
Registered General Nurse with active NMBI registration.\ N Previous leadership experience within a nursing home setting.\ N Strong understanding ofHIQA standards and regulatory requirements.\ N Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills.\ N Ability to motivate teams and promote a positive culture.\ N Commitment to delivering exceptional care to older people.\ N
