Reference: 170849Location: Frankfurt (Oder)Type: FULL_TIMEPosted: 2026-10-28Our client, a large European consultancy, seeks an experienced Commercial Lead to lead a team of MEP & CSA Quantity Surveyors and take ownership of all commercial processes on a large data centre project in southwest Germany.

About the RoleWe’re looking for a seasoned Commercial Lead with extensive hands‑on experience in managing all commercial activities, pre- and post-contract, particularly on data centre projects. Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the primary cost management liaison with client and other project stakeholdersResponsibility for pre- and post-contract duties including preparation of cost estimates, procurement and tendering, contract administration, variation, final account, etc.

Completing feasibility studies and writing procurement reportsProducing monthly post contract cost reports and presenting them to the clientParticipate effectively with post contract cost variances and the change control processes Required QualificationsAccredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and seven (7) years of work-related experienceExperience in data centres or mission critical environments, such as pharma / life sciences, nuclear or battery projects.

English skills are required, fluent German language skills are preferred. Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, co-workers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
