At Oxigent Technologies, we are looking for an Electrical Commissioning Supervisor to participate in an international commissioning project for a power plant located in Heilbronn, Germany. If selected, your mission will be to lead the commissioning of the plant's electrical systems, ensuring the proper execution of tests, equipment energisation, and coordination of the different stakeholders involved throughout the commissioning phase.
What will your main responsibilities be? Prepare and execute test sheets, verifying cabling, continuity, insulation, and electrical protection systems. Perform control parameter adjustments, as well as no-load and load tests on electric motors.
Supervise DCS signal exchange tests, both under normal operating conditions and emergency situations. Lead the first energisation, first synchronisation, and Grid Compliance tests. Identify and resolve issues related to electrical system programming and field connections.
Coordinate and supervise the work of subcontractors and suppliers, providing technical and administrative follow-up of the activities. Participate in the final testing of the systems and support the training of plant operators.
What are we looking for? Technical degree or Electrical Engineering degree (or equivalent professional experience in the sector). At least 5 years of experience in similar roles. Experience in commissioning electrical systems, motors, turbines, drives, and DCS signal testing.
Experience in power plants or industrial process plants involving high-voltage systems. Knowledge of electrical protection systems, circuit breakers, power electronics, and control systems. Fluent English is mandatory. German is a plus.
Strong leadership, organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate teams on site and work effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Availability to work on-site in Germany. Be registered as self-employed in your country of residence.
