We are thinking about the future of sampling. We develop and manufacture automatic sampling devices for monitoring water and wastewater that are used and valued worldwide. In addition to standard devices, we offer a wide range of sophisticated, custom-designed solutions. Our innovative ideas are designed to contribute to a better environment and clean water.

We continue to grow, and our customers’ needs in the areas of network connectivity/integration and remote communication for our devices are constantly increasing.

Software Developer for Embedded Systems
(m/f/d)

Your responsibilities:

• Design, programming, and implementation of embedded software in C or Python
• Helping to design and optimize hardware-oriented software architectures
• Commissioning of prototypes, as well as connecting and testing hardware interfaces
• Conducting code reviews, module tests, and error analysis (debugging) on the target hardware
• Maintenance and creation of software documentation for users
• Assisting with customer support as needed (by phone or on-site)

What you bring to the table:

• A degree in computer science or a related field; alternatively, an apprenticeship as an IT specialist (m/f/d) with relevant professional experience or a comparable qualification
• Strong knowledge of the Linux and Windows operating systems, as well as experience working with version control systems (Git)
• Experience with one or more programming languages, such as C or Python
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as MQTT or Modbus is a plus
• Ideally, experience with low-level software development and interface programming
• An independent, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work
• Strong written and spoken German and English skills
