Then we have the perfect job for you! Amazon is looking for a detail-oriented individual to join our Data Center Engineering Operations Team. This committed group works to maintain the critical physical infrastructure that supports Amazon Web Services.
Specifically, this team works to ensure that the data center's Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems (MEP) operate at 100% availability while maintaining first-class customer service to the teams and groups within the data centers.
The Data Center Engineering Operations Technician (EOT) is Amazon’s front-line responders for hands-on electrical and mechanical equipment troubleshooting and operation and responsible for delivery of best practice systems and problem resolution on all data center electrical and mechanical infrastructure within the data center environment in a specific location.
The role requires a highly driven, self-managed individual who demonstrates initiative and proactively seeks solutions to complex technical problems. This position requires frequent site interventions, critical switching activities, along with troubleshooting and fixing infrastructure issues.
The role would suit someone who enjoys working in a ‘hands on’ capacity on Mechanical and Electrical (M
