Job Description
We are agap2, an operational consulting company in Science and Engineering. Our team of engineers, pharmacists, and scientists helps renowned clients successfully execute complex projects — from plant commissioning and process optimization to quality management initiatives
Your Responsibilities
- Design and develop PLD/FPGA solutions for embedded systems used in aerospace applications
- Plan, execute, and coordinate tasks related to the development of complex software applications
- Implement technical requirements and detailed specifications to ensure optimal use of hardware architecture, components, and FPGA control systems
- Support the definition, programming, commissioning, and testing of Board Support Packages (BSPs) for electronic control units and applications
- Conduct PLD/FPGA design reviews, including requirements analysis and both conceptual and detailed design evaluations
- Analyze, document, and communicate verification and test results
- Develop, review, and assess safety concepts and related analyses
- Contribute to the development of software strategies
- Collaborate within interdisciplinary development teams
Your Profile
- Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a comparable field
- Experience in aerospace software development is a plus
- Strong German language skills
- Proven experience in embedded systems development
- Hands-on experience with PLD/FPGA technologies and tools (e.g., Microsemi, Xilinx, Altera, Libero)
- Familiarity with model-based development tools and methods (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink) is advantageous
- Knowledge of PLD/FPGA verification, ideally using ModelSim or RivieraPro
- Experience with aerospace FPGA standards (e.g., RTCA DO-254) is a plus
- Ability to work effectively in agile, team-based development environments
