The Company: A growing clean energy company supporting the transition to a more sustainable energy system. The business works across renewable energy markets, helping optimise and manage renewable assets through commercial energy solutions, trading activities and long-term agreements.
As General Counsel, you will lead the legal function and act as a trusted adviser to the executive leadership team. You will provide strategic and commercially focused legal support across the business, covering project development, commercial contracts, corporate matters, financing, governance, compliance and risk management.
Working closely with internal stakeholders and external counsel, you will ensure legal risks are effectively managed while enabling the business to achieve its growth objectives.
The Role
Lead and manage the company's legal function across multiple jurisdictions. Advise senior leadership on strategic legal and commercial matters. Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements. Support renewable energy development, construction and operational projects.
