General Manager – Germany | Warehouse Automation & Robotics Location: Germany Industry: Warehouse Automation / Robotics / Intralogistics Employment Type: Full-time | Executive Leadership The Opportunity We are representing a fast-growing international warehouse automation and robotics manufacturer as they establish and scale their presence in Germany.
The business provides advanced automated storage and material handling technologies, including high-density AS/RS, shuttle systems, autonomous robotics and supporting warehouse software. They are now looking to appoint a General Manager – Germany to lead the development of the German business and play a key role in their wider European expansion.
This is not a position where you will inherit a large, established organisation. It is a genuine business-building opportunity. The General Manager will be responsible for: Developing and executing the company's growth strategy for Germany Building relationships with major end users, system integrators and strategic partners Establishing the company's commercial presence within the German market Developing a strong pipeline of warehouse automation opportunities Identifying the right routes to market and partnership strategy Building and leading the German organisation as the business grows Providing market intelligence and customer feedback to global leadership Acting as a key link between the European market and headquarters in China Representing the business with customers, partners and industry stakeholders Taking increasing responsibility for the overall performance of the German operation We are interested in speaking with senior professionals who have: Strong experience within warehouse automation, intralogistics, robotics, AS/RS, shuttle systems or AMR/AGV A strong understanding of the German and wider European automation market Proven commercial leadership and business development experience Experience launching, building or scaling a regional business or business unit Strong relationships across end users, integrators and automation partners Experience building and leading teams An entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to operate successfully within a high-growth environment The ability to combine strategic leadership with a hands-on commercial approach Languages: English is essential.
German language capability is highly desirable. Chinese language capability would be a significant advantage due to regular interaction with headquarters in China. Why Consider It?
