Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer, Security Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), or similar role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies including Entra ID, Exchange Online, Intune, Microsoft 365, and Defender for Endpoint.
- Solid Linux administration experience and confidence operating mixed Windows, Linux, and macOS environments.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong automation mindset with experience in PowerShell, Python, REST APIs, or similar scripting technologies.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Good understanding of identity and access management, Zero Trust principles, and modern security practices.
- Experience securing endpoints, managing vulnerabilities, and troubleshooting infrastructure and connectivity issues.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced engineering environment with a strong sense of ownership.
- Nationality of a NATO member nation is required.
- Experience with Kubernetes, containerized workloads, or virtualization technologies.
- Networking knowledge and troubleshooting experience.
- Familiarity with ISO 27001, BSI, NIS2, or similar compliance frameworks.
- Experience in defence, aerospace, critical infrastructure, or other security-sensitive environments.
- Relevant certifications such as SC-300, AZ-500, MS-102, RHCSA, Terraform Associate, or comparable credentials.
- ITIL v3/v4 certification or practical experience.
- Intrinsic motivation, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to combine structured and systematic work with creativity in finding solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Own and secure our IT infrastructure across Microsoft 365, cloud platforms, endpoints, and collaboration tools.
- Design, automate, and continuously improve secure, scalable, and reliable IT services supporting a fast-growing engineering organization.
- Manage and secure our Microsoft ecosystem, including Entra ID, Exchange Online, Intune, Microsoft 365, and Defender for Endpoint.
- Implement identity and access management controls, including MFA, Conditional Access, RBAC, and device compliance policies.
- Automate infrastructure and operational workflows using scripting, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and modern systems engineering practices.
- Administer and harden Windows, Linux, and macOS environments.
- Manage endpoint security, patching, vulnerability remediation, monitoring, and incident response.
- Contribute to ISO 27001, BSI, and NIS2 compliance initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with software, robotics, AI, and infrastructure teams to build secure engineering environments.
