Your TasksTechnical risk management for international transport and supply chains, with a focus on loss prevention and risk mitigationRisk engineering consulting for internationally operating industrial companiesInvestigation of transport and storage losses, including identification of root causes and development of preventive measuresRegular site inspections and risk assessments of storage facilities worldwideAdvising clients on transportation projects regarding packaging solutions, selection of transport equipment, cargo securing, and suitable transport routesMonitoring and supervising cargo handling operations involving insured goods within global supply chains Independently organising and delivering training courses and workshops – both internally and for our clients Further development of digital processes and tools for transport risk engineering and involvement in internal projects Your ProfileUniversity degree in engineering, natural sciences, logistics, or a related technical discipline, or an equivalent qualification gained through the maritime industry or extensive experience as a marine surveyor/loss adjusterProfessional experience in an industrial environment, ideally combined with a solid understanding of global transportation and supply chain processesStrong communication and teamwork skillsAnalytical mindset combined with a structured and efficient way of workingGeneral affinity for Artificial Intelligence (AI)Interest in developing technology-based applications for risk analysis and assessmentStrong customer focus and enthusiasm for technical consultingFluent German and English language skills (minimum C1 level); additional languages are considered an assetWillingness to undertake international business travelFlexible working hoursFlexitime arrangements and flexible working time models allow for a perfect work-life balance – however it suits you.
