MEP Construction Manager | Data Centre Project | Frankfurt Location: Frankfurt, Germany (Site-Based) Contract: Freelance | 12-Month Initial Contract (Extensions Highly Likely) Start Date: October 5th Language: English Required Project Overview We are supporting a leading Client on the delivery of a large-scale hyperscale data centre project in Frankfurt.
As the MEP Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of all mechanical and electrical packages, ensuring works are completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
Working as part of a fast-paced project team, you will coordinate subcontractors, manage key interfaces across disciplines, and drive the project through construction, commissioning, and handover. Key Responsibilities Manage the delivery of all MEP construction activities on site.
Coordinate mechanical, electrical, and commissioning subcontractors. Drive progress against programme milestones and project deadlines. Ensure effective coordination between MEP, CSA, and commissioning teams. Oversee installation of critical systems including HVAC, chilled water, LV/MV distribution, UPS, generators, switchgear, and associated infrastructure.
Monitor quality, productivity, and health & safety performance across all works. Identify and resolve technical and programme-related issues. Lead site meetings and provide regular progress updates to senior stakeholders.
Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities. Required Skills & Experience Proven experience as an MEP Construction Manager, Building Services Manager, or MEP Project Manager. Previous experience delivering large-scale construction projects, ideally within data centres or other mission-critical environments.
Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical building services systems. Experience managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary project teams. Knowledge of construction sequencing, coordination, commissioning, and handover processes.
