Responsibilities

• Coordination with external European patent law firms: selection, quality control, benchmarking
• Managing patent prosecution and opposition proceedings at the European patent office and the German patent office
• Participation in European patent litigation
• Assisting in the European patent law training of Chinese patent engineers
• Controlling the quality of English-language patent application drafting

Requirements

• At least 8 years’ experience as a European patent attorney
• Master’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, physics or related fields
• English as a working language
• Additional qualification as a German patent attorney highly welcome
• Chinese language and culture proficiency highly welcome
• Honesty, strong communication and coordination skills, strong self-motivation
