Responsibilities
You define and establish cross-site technical standards for automated container handling systems (e.g., ASCs, ATTs, AGVs) and ensure their consistent implementation across projects. You are responsible for the technical design of the systems and their implementation—from design and specification through integration, testing, and commissioning.
You support the seamless integration of automated systems into higher-level control systems (e.g., Equipment Control System). You work closely with manufacturers, system integrators, and internal teams to meet and continuously improve safety and performance requirements.
You develop best practices for automation and contribute to their implementation in operational environments.
Your Profile
Several years of experience in automation and operational technology, preferably in a container terminal environment. Strong expertise in automated transport or handling systems. Proven experience in implementing automation solutions (design, commissioning, optimization).
In-depth understanding of control systems, industrial networks, and sensor technology, as well as relevant safety standards. Strong analytical skills, experience in complex project environments, and very good English skills with a basic knowledge of German.
