Reporting & Consolidation Expert with fluent German

Our international client is currently looking for an experienced Reporting & Consolidation Expert with fluent German to strengthen its finance function.

This is an opportunity for a senior finance professional with strong expertise in group consolidation, financial reporting and controlling, who enjoys working in an international environment and collaborating with multiple subsidiaries.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating the monthly, quarterly and annual group consolidation process
• Ensuring accurate, consistent and timely financial reporting across the group
• Reviewing financial results, forecasts and business plans from international subsidiaries
• Performing financial and variance analyses and translating the findings into meaningful business insights
• Supporting subsidiaries with reporting, planning and other finance-related topics
• Identifying opportunities to improve financial performance and optimize costs
• Further developing controlling processes, reporting standards and financial tools
• Defining and monitoring key financial and operational performance indicators
• Using financial analysis and KPIs to support management and business decision-making
• Leading and developing the controlling team while ensuring effective cooperation across the organization

What are we looking for?

• Strong professional experience in finance, accounting, controlling and financial reporting
• Proven hands-on experience with group consolidation and group reporting
• Experience working with or supporting international subsidiaries
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate financial data into business recommendations
• Confident communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience in an international or group-level finance environment is highly desirable
• Fluent German and English
