Job DescriptionOnsite Safety Manager - Berlin - Data Centre Construction\ NA leading technical general contractor spanning a geographical remit across Ireland, the UK, Europe and the USA. Specialising in large scale commercial construction projects with a focus on the pharmaceutical and logistics industries there is a solid pipeline of work ahead. Due to an increase in project workload there is an opportunity for an experienced Safety Manager to lead a large Data Centre construction project. As Safety manager you will oversee and manage health and safety protocols for large-scale construction work. The successful candidate will report to the Senior Regional Safety Manager.\ NDuties & Responsibilities\ N Conduct regular formal site audits and carry out inspections as directed in the Safety Management system/PSCS.\ N Attend Safety Leadership Tours.\ N Coaching and mentoring staff in creating a positive safety culture.\ N Reviewing RAMS/Subcontractor documentation.\ N Communicate the findings of the audits to site management and project director and assist in the closure of issues in line with company policy.\ N Assessing the EHS function to identify areas for improvement and develop new initiatives.\ N Investigating and analyzing incidents and identifying root causes.\ N To provide training andinformation to the workforce using appropriate training aids and media, communicating, and promoting initiatives for accident prevention and greater EHS awareness.\ N Thorough knowledge of relevant environmental health & safety legislation.\ N Ability to manage, mentor and promote Safety onsite.\ N Maintaining management systems in accordance with ISO 45001/14001 and Safe T Cert.\ N Represent the company impeccably with client, subcontractors and third parties.\ N As principal contractoron the job ensure adherance by all stakeholders to EHS legislation\ N Skills and qualifications:\ N Relevant Level 7 EHS qualification essential.\ N Experience in a similarrole is essential.\ N Experience working in the Commercial Construction Sector for a principal contractor is essential\ N PSCS experience Proficiency in using Microsoft Office required.\ N Excellent organisational and planning skills.\ N Excellent communicationskills and ability to work well in a team environment.\ N MUST Have European Passport can't consider otherwise\ N Benefits
