Description Our German client, a leading worldwide supplier of high performance semiconductor sensor solutions is in search of an:Senior  IC Validation  EngineerTasks and responsibilitiesEvaluation, validation and characterization of high performance optical and mixed signal sensors and other subsystems such as ADC's, DAC's, high linearity amplifiers, LDOs, temperature sensors, digital systemsDefine validation concepts for high performance mixed signal integrated circuitsDefine test setups for sensor evaluation (electrical, optical, spectral, audio)Preparation of validation plans according to device specifications and documentation of validation and characterization reportsDevelop validation requirements specifications based on design specifications and support from design teamAnalyzing and documenting evaluation results and preparing compliance reportsValidation and debugging of evaluation hardwareExecution of electrical and optical measurementsCorrelation of measurements with production test resultsFPGA programmingParticipation in technical discussions with customers and/or internalYour education and experiencesMaster Degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field of studyAt least 5 years of professional experience in IC validation and measurement techniquesGood understanding of analog and mixed signal integrated circuitsExperience in development of analog circuits and mixed-signal subsystems is high benefitExperience with relevant CAE tools, solid programming skills for measurement automation e.g. LabVIEW, Python, C or similarExcellent technical knowledge and passion for high performance sensor systemsPCB Design and layout of evaluation hardware with Altium is advantageousExcellent team playerCalm professional demeanor and excellent listening skills, ability to organize and prioritize workGood communication skills in oral and written English and German Required Skills Master Degree in Electrical Engineering 5 yrs IC validation and measurement techniquesAnalog and mixed signal integrated circuitsCAE tools, solid programming (LabVIEW, Python, C)PCB Design and Altium is a plusEnglish and German fluencyEU Citizen / German work permit holder Openings
