We pride ourselves on our excellence in innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction, and we are looking for a talented M&E Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team in Somerset Position Overview: They are seeking an experienced and highly motivated M&E Senior Quantity Surveyor to oversee cost management and ensure the financial success of our large-scale data centre projects.

As a key member of our team, you will bring your expertise to manage project costs, negotiate contracts, and collaborate with various stakeholders to achieve optimal financial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the M&E quantity surveying functions on high-value data centre projects. Prepare, monitor, and control budgets and cost plans. Conduct detailed cost analysis and forecasting. Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.

Evaluate and manage project risks and provide strategic financial advice. Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and industry standards. Prepare accurate and timely reports for senior management. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Drive continuous improvement and innovation in cost management processes. Qualifications & Experience: Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. Professional membership with RICS or equivalent.

Minimum of 8 years of experience in M&E quantity surveying, preferably with experience in data centre projects. Strong understanding of M&E systems and their cost implications. Proven track record of managing high-value projects from inception to completion.

Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in relevant quantity surveying software and tools. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
