Senior Web Analyst

Senior Web Analyst (m/f/d) / Frankfurt, Germany / Hybrid We're partnering with a leading international agency as they continue to strengthen their digital analytics capabilities in Europe. This is an opportunity for an experienced Web Analyst to go beyond reporting — identifying patterns, diagnosing tracking issues, improving data collection, and turning complex digital data into actionable marketing insights.

Key Responsibilities Analyse behavioural and conversion patterns within GA4, identifying anomalies, tracking gaps, and unexpected fluctuations. Diagnose discrepancies across GA4, Adobe Analytics, attribution models, and reporting outputs.

Evaluate and improve event schemas, parameters, tracking structures, and data collection strategies. Conduct funnel, cohort, user journey, and attribution analysis to identify opportunities to improve marketing performance.

Design and evaluate A/B tests, applying statistical validation to distinguish genuine behavioural impact from tracking issues. Partner with marketing, data, and technical teams to translate complex analytics into clear recommendations.

What You'll Bring Extensive' experience within digital marketing or web analytics. Deep hands-on GA4 expertise, including analysis, troubleshooting, event-based data models, and attribution. Advanced SQL skills, ideally including BigQuery, with working knowledge of GTM.

Experience with Adobe Analytics and Tableau or Looker Studio would be advantageous. Strong analytical and statistical skills with the ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders. Fluent English; German language skills would be beneficial.

Please note - this role is to be based in Frankfurt with 3 days in the office per week although Berlin & Dusseldorf are also to be considered with weekly travel to Frankfurt. Also to note - Initial 12 month contract to then go permanent post review.
