Technical Specialist – International Operations - Relocation to Switzerland

Our client is an engineering company based near Zug, Switzerland. We are currently looking for a hands-on Technical Specialist to coordinate and oversee technical projects across Europe.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and oversee technical projects and maintenance activities on sites across Europe Supervise and support technicians and subcontractors on-site while also directly intervening in operational and technical activities when required, including hands-on support during repairs, maintenance, and emergency situations.
Act as the main point of contact for customers during project execution and emergency interventions Manage site activities including documentation, reporting, and coordination of workflows Handle overhauls, repairs, maintenance, and commissioning activities Coordinate shift operations and technical activities in manufacturing facilities or workshops Support emergency repairs and travel independently or with an assistant Profile: Completed vocational training in a mechanical field (e.g. mechanic, fitter, metalworker, agricultural machinery mechanic, or similar) Minimum 3–5 years of relevant technical experience Experience coordinating technicians, workshops, or shift operations Ability to work independently, responsibly, and in a solution-oriented manner Comfortable working directly on-site with customers and technical teams Good technical understanding including welding, thermal cutting, mechanical assembly, and general maintenance activities Fluency in German and English is mandatory Willingness to travel extensively across Europe (70–80%) Offer: International and dynamic working environment Opportunity to combine operational work with project coordination responsibilities High level of autonomy and responsibility Long-term development opportunities within an international engineering company Salary range: CHF 80,000 – 100,000 depending on experience
