To strengthen our production facility in Bremerhaven, Germany, we are looking for an experienced Workshop Foreman / Production Lead who enjoys working on the shop floor, leading teams by example, and taking ownership of daily production activities.
This is a hands-on leadership position rather than a desk-based management role. The successful candidate will actively support production operations, coordinate the workshop team, maintain quality and safety standards, and ensure that production targets are achieved efficiently. ⸻ Qualifications Completed technical vocational training with further qualification as an Industrial Master Craftsman (Industriemeister), Master Craftsman (Handwerksmeister), State-Certified Technician (Staatlich geprüfter Techniker), or an equivalent technical qualification, Preferably 7–10+ years of experience in Ground Support Equipment (GSE), truck-mounted hydraulic systems, lifting equipment, platforms, heavy machinery, or similar industries, Proven experience leading production teams in a manufacturing environment, Strong knowledge of welding, machining, mechanical assembly and hydraulic systems, Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, Strong commitment to quality, workmanship and continuous improvement, Practical problem-solving skills with a hands-on mentality, Good communication skills in German and/or English, Reliable, self-motivated and willing to work alongside the production team when required. ⸻ Key Responsibilities Organize and supervise daily production activities, Coordinate and support the workshop team, Ensure production quality, productivity and on-time delivery, Monitor welding, machining, assembly, hydraulic and testing processes, Resolve technical issues quickly and effectively, Monitor material and equipment requirements, Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, Report production progress and improvement opportunities to management. ⸻ Who Will Succeed in This Role?

Für unseren Produktionsstandort in Bremerhaven suchen wir einen erfahrenen Werkstattleiter / Produktionsleiter, der gerne direkt in der Fertigung arbeitet, sein Team führt und Verantwortung für den täglichen Produktionsablauf übernimmt.
Diese Position ist keine klassische Bürotätigkeit. Gesucht wird eine Persönlichkeit, die aktiv auf der Produktionsfläche mitarbeitet, das Team organisiert, Qualitäts- und Sicherheitsstandards sicherstellt und einen reibungslosen Produktionsablauf gewährleistet. ⸻ Ihr Profil Abgeschlossene technische Berufsausbildung mit Weiterbildung zum Industriemeister, Handwerksmeister, staatlich geprüften Techniker oder einer vergleichbaren Qualifikation.
Idealerweise 7–10 Jahre oder mehr Berufserfahrung im Bereich Ground Support Equipment (GSE), Hydrauliksysteme, Hebetechnik, Arbeitsbühnen, Sondermaschinen oder vergleichbaren Industrien, Erfahrung in der Führung von Produktionsteams, Gute Kenntnisse im Schweißen, in der Zerspanung, der mechanischen Montage sowie in Hydrauliksystemen, Sicheres Lesen technischer Zeichnungen, Hohes Qualitätsbewusstsein sowie strukturierte und eigenverantwortliche Arbeitsweise, Ausgeprägte praktische Problemlösungskompetenz, Deutsch und/oder Englisch in Wort und Schrift, Teamorientiert, zuverlässig und bereit, aktiv in der Produktion mitzuarbeiten. ⸻ Ihre Aufgaben Organisation und Steuerung der täglichen Produktionsabläufe, Fachliche Führung und Unterstützung des Produktionsteams, Sicherstellung von Qualität, Produktivität und Termintreue, Überwachung der Schweiß-, Zerspanungs-, Montage-, Hydraulik- und Prüfprozesse, Schnelle und nachhaltige Lösung technischer Probleme, Kontrolle des Material- und Betriebsmittelbedarfs, Sicherstellung der Einhaltung von Qualitäts- und Arbeitssicherheitsstandards, Regelmäßige Berichterstattung an die Geschäftsleitung sowie Einbringung von Verbesserungsvorschlägen. ⸻ Wen wir suchen Sie passen zu uns, wenn Sie: gerne direkt in der Produktion arbeiten, Verantwortung übernehmen und Entscheidungen treffen, Ihr Team durch Vorbild führen, technisch versiert und praxisorientiert sind, Qualität als selbstverständlich ansehen, gemeinsam mit einem international wachsenden Unternehmen etwas aufbauen möchten. ⸻ Why Miles GSE? | Warum Miles GSE?
