To learn more, please visit us at: 2002 Number of students: 465 Locations: San Francisco, Silicon Valley Collaborate with the teaching team to work with children in small groups and individually, and to plan and implement lessons; Guide student behavior patiently and supportively; provide age-appropriate social-emotional instruction and support to students; Organize and set up the classroom environment, equipment, materials for nap, games, art, crafts, science, and outdoor activities; Manage children and systems during nap, play, class, lunch, outdoor time; Communicate observations and insights to Head Teacher(s); support weekly classroom documentation; Maintain an encouraging and positive attitude with students and colleagues.
Assist with snack preparation and cleanup as needed. Help prepare, organize, and clean program spaces and equipment, including closing the building when assigned. Promptly communicate with students, families and colleagues regarding any concerns or to report any incidents.
Perform other related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Education preferred; Bilingual and bi-literate in English and Italian with native or near-native English proficiency. Salary: Competitive compensation package including benefits based on years of experience and qualifications.
Candidates must be authorized to work in Italy. Prior to beginning work and as a condition of employment in order to comply with the law, all employees must provide documentation to prove eligibility to work in Italy. Final candidates will need to pass Background Clearance (Fedina Penale) and a physical exam, and provide a recent copy of a negative Tuberculosis (TB) test and other immunization records.
