Job Purpose: TheEMEAProcurementDirectorownstheEMEAsourcingstrategyandleadsthecentralprocurementfunction. Theroledefinescategoryprioritiesacrossend-marketsandmaterialtypes,governsstrategicsupplierrelationshipsatEMEAlevel,andensuresalignmentwiththeCSCOEMEAoncost,supplysecurityandsustainabilityobjectives.

TheroleisaccountablefortheoverallperformanceoftheSourcingfunction. The position holds dual accountability, leading both Category Managers (end-market and commercial angle) and Sourcing Managers (material/product optimization).

It influences all central supplier decisions and provides direction to Regional Supply Chain Directors on local sourcing alignment. KeyAccountabilities: 1.ProcurementStrategy&Governance Define,ownanddeploytheEMEAsourcingstrategy,alignedwiththeCSCOEMEAagendaandcompany-wideobjectives.

Setcategoryprioritiesacrossend-marketsandmaterialtypes,ensuringconsistencybetweencategoryandsourcingroadmaps. Establishprocurementgovernance,policiesanddecisionrightsacrosscentralandregionalteams,includingtheSupplierMatrix.

ProvidedirectiontoRegionalSupplyChainDirectorstoensureconsistentimplementationofcentrallydefinedsourcingstrategies. 2.TeamLeadership&Organization Leadthecentralprocurementorganization: CategoryManagers,SourcingManagers,SeniorBuyersandBuyers.

Ensureclearroledefinitionandeffectivecollaborationbetweencategory(end-market)andsourcing(material/product)roles. Buildcapabilities,successionandcareerpathsinlinewiththeSupplyChainCareerLadder. Setobjectives,monitorperformanceanddriveahigh-performance,accountableculture.

3.StrategicSupplierRelationshipManagement GovernstrategicandcorporatesupplierrelationshipsatEMEAlevelandactasseniorescalationpoint. Sponsorsuppliersegmentation,performancemanagement(KPIs,scorecards,businessreviews)andsupplierdevelopmentprograms.

Leadorsponsorthemostcriticalnegotiations,includingframeworkagreements,priceincreasesandlong-termcontracts. 4.Cost&PerformanceManagement OwntheEMEAprocurementsavingstargetsandreportresultstotheCSCOandexecutiveforums. Drivecostsavingsandmarginimprovementthroughstrategicsourcing,negotiation,valueengineeringandtotalcostofownership(TCO)optimization.

DefineandtrackprocurementKPIs,includingsavings,supplierperformance,supplyriskandprocesscompliance. PartnerwithFinanceoncosttracking,budgetandsavingsmeasurementalignment. 5.SupplySecurity,Risk&Sustainability EnsuresupplycontinuityacrossEMEAthroughriskmapping,dual/multi-sourcingandcontingencyplans.

Manageriskrelatedtosupply,contracts,rawmaterialsandgeopoliticalexposure. Embedsustainability,ethicalsourcingandregulatoryrequirementsintosupplierselectionandcategorystrategies. Ensurecompliancewithinternalprocurementpolicies,governanceandethicalstandards.

6.Cross-FunctionalCollaboration PartnerwithSales/SegmentLeaderstoenablegrowth,cross-sellingandexpansionintargetedendmarkets. CollaboratewithQHSEtoensuresuppliercompliancewithtechnicalandregulatoryrequirements. WorkcloselywithSCPlanning/S&OPandLogisticstoensuresupplycontinuity,optimizeinventoryandimproveservicelevels.
