Field Service Engineer - Digital Technologist

Overview

In this role you deliver end-to-end technical support for EFI digital printing solutions, both locally and abroad. You provide on-site and remote assistance, participate in tradeshow activities, and train end users. You will travel extensively to service large territories and feed actionable feedback to R&D. You will work closely with customers to ensure optimal printer performance and demonstrate EFI's technology as a differentiator.

Responsabilità

• Provide end-to-end technical support locally and abroad

Requisiti fondamentali

• Technical degree or equivalent experience in digital and electronic technology for industrial printers
• Two+ years of field engineering experience on digital machines and electronic devices
• Availability for extensive travel at short notice
• Knowledge of inkjet printing technology in water-based ink
• Knowledge of RIP software and color management
• Knowledge of color theory and materials/chemicals
• Knowledge of textile digital machine processes
• Good communication skills and customer-focused
• Fluent in Italian and English
• Self-motivating with ability to manage a large service territory
• Knowledge of personal computers, Windows and Linux
