Field System Engineer

Overview

In this role you will deliver expert technical and application support for Danfoss Turbocor compressors across Europe, collaborating with sales teams to grow OEM business. You will diagnose and solve compressor and refrigeration issues, gather field insights to inform product development, and lead customer visits, training, and demonstrations. You will work cross-functionally to address challenges and drive customer satisfaction and business growth. This is a hands-on, impact-focused role in a sustainability-minded company.

Responsabilità

• Provide technical and application support to OEM customers and sales teams across Europe; support for existing business and new opportunities
• Serve as the main technical contact for product applications, troubleshooting and quality topics
• Analyze compressor and refrigeration system issues; perform failure analysis and drive structured problem-solving and corrective actions
• Represent the voice of the customer; share field insights to improve products and support new development
• Plan and conduct customer visits, technical training, product demonstrations to enhance satisfaction and growth
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Quality and other internal teams to address technical challenges and execute initiatives

Requisiti fondamentali

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• 5+ years in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration with proven expertise in refrigeration systems using Danfoss Turbocor centrifugal compressors
• Strong hands-on and theoretical knowledge of chillers and compressor applications
• Strong technical analysis, troubleshooting and structured problem-solving, with a customer-focused and business-oriented mindset
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management; fluent English; Italian/German/French an advantage
• Willingness to travel across Europe (~25% of time) with peak periods potentially higher
