Job Description Summary The Global Process Engineer (GPE) will work closely with the Global Manufacturing Engineering Leader, the primary focus area will be developing and deploying global standards that improve the reliability, availability, and performance of Aero Alliance’s manufacturing equipment and processes.
They will analyze data, and work cross‑functionally to implement proactive measures that improve processes. This person will also be responsible for cost reduction through standardization of equipment and processes, establishing standards, and ensuring adherence to these standards.
They will also be a focal point for new technology introductions, asset transfers, new process introductions; inclusive of lead time, technology selection and recommendations for fixturing, tooling, process, control plans, and qualifications of manufacturing assets.
The GPE will coach and influence a dotted‑line organization, comprised of factory manufacturing engineers across the Aero Alliance factories. Critical to the role is leveraging analytical skills, the lean methodology and the guiding principle of creating process standards for equipment (“One Product One Process”) to drive SQDC in line with business and functional objectives.
The candidate chosen for this position will acquire strong technical knowledge and extensive exposure to manufacturing, engineering, quality, and safe process development. The selected candidate plays a key role in the Aero Alliance business, and in building a culture of inclusion and respect for people as well as continuous improvement.
Job Description Roles and Responsibilities Develop, Qualify, and Improve manufacturing processes. Define global process standards and equipment standards and deploy them across the Aero Alliance factories, partnering with local factory technical leaders.
Define, control, communicate global processes for manufacturing assets, including facility integration, acceptance testing, machine health checks access to Health Coach from GE Vernova, a 24/7 nurse‑based resource; and access to the Employee Assistance Program, providing 24/7 confidential assessment, counseling and referral services.
