Descrizione dell’offerta di lavoro Our client company, a key player in the pet food industry, is seeking an IT Software Automation Specialist to design, build, and maintain the critical automation solutions that power the business.
This is not just a support role; you will be a key internal consultant, transforming complex business needs—from core payment systems to departmental workflows—into secure, scalable, and practical automation solutions. This is a highly visible, user-facing position based full-time at their Genoa headquarters (no remote working).
You will be responsible for a portfolio of internal automation projects, collaborating directly with stakeholders across all departments. Your ability to actively listen and understand their challenges will be as crucial as your technical skill in developing tools, integrating systems, and enhancing daily operations for teams across the company.
Key Responsibilities
Design a proven ability to understand the "why" behind a request and translate complex non-technical needs into clear technical specifications. Strong problem-solving abilities and a deep curiosity for understanding how complex systems function and interact.
Full professional fluency in both Italian and English (written and spoken) is essential. Willingness and ability to work 100% on-site at our Genoa office. Excellent English level. Nice-to-Have (Highly Valued): Direct experience with financial systems, payment gateways, or high-reliability transaction processing environments.
Strong experience with API integration (REST, SOAP) and system-to-system data workflows. Solid understanding of both software and hardware architectures in a corporate environment. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git). Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
