Mission the junior marine surveyor contributes to maritime safety and compliance by applying knowledge of rules, regulations and industry principles. key accountabilities conduct routine surveys and inspections of classed ships, platforms and marine structures to verify compliance with classification and statutory requirements. prepare accurate and timely inspection and survey reports, documenting findings and recommendations. maintain survey files and documentation in an orderly and up‑to‑date manner. stay informed about new regulations, technical developments and industry practices. identify technical issues during surveys and propose appropriate solutions, seeking guidance from senior surveyors when needed. collaborate with surveyors, senior surveyors and principal surveyors and interact with clients as directed. participate in training programmes and professional development activities. education
