LCA Specialist

ABOUT THE JOB

We are seeking an LCA Specialist to work for one of our most prestigious clients, an international research center based in Ispra (VA), Italy.

Responsibilities

The overall objective of the work is to support the Client's Life Cycle Assessment team with software, data, and IT technical support for the European LCA platform, including assistance with calculating related environmental impacts, specifically regarding chemical impact and biodiversity assessment.

Requirements

• Environmental specialist with significant experience in environmental data analysis using LCA software;
• Proficiency in using commercial and open-source LCA software (e.g., SimaPro, GaBi);
• Knowledge of statistical analysis tools (e.g., R, MATLAB), including tools specific to biodiversity applications (e.g., TRIM) or the comprehensive assessment of biodiversity factors (e.g., ReCiPe, IMPACT World+, Ecoscarcity);
• Knowledge of Tableau is a plus;
• Knowledge of models and applications specific to the environmental assessment of chemicals (e.g., USEtox);
• Excellent command of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel;
• Strong writing and presentation skills in English;
• Ability to work in an international/multicultural environment and as part of a team.

Place of work and RAL

Ispra (VA), with the possibility of smart working up to 3 days a week.

RAL: 30.000,00 - 35.000,00 €
