Logistics Assistant

• Coordinate the collection, staging, and dispatch of both technical and non-technical equipment, as well as production supplies, from the WBD Warehouse
• Organize and track deliveries to and from Olympic competition and non-competition venues
• Perform hands-on warehouse tasks including packing, wrapping pallets, loading, and unloading trucks
• Accompany delivery drivers on runs to various Olympic sites, including competition venues, national houses, and studios
• Assist with equipment sourcing by researching and contacting local suppliers in Italy
• Monitor and manage inventory using the WBD asset tracking system
• Provide general administrative support, including managing delivery notes, processing invoices, coordinating venue bookings, and handling incoming/outgoing parcels
• This is a fully on-site role, based in Siziano, Italy and does not offer remote or agile working arrangements Desired

Skills and Experience

• While full training is provided, previous experience in logistics, scheduling, or customer service—particularly within large sporting events—is a strong advantage
• Flexible and willing to work long hours, including early starts, late finishes, weekends, and public holidays
• Prepared to work in a warehouse environment and carry out physical tasks
• Enthusiastic team player with a proactive attitude and a good sense of humour
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
