Material Planning Intern

• Support planning and management of material flows required for production
• Ensure availability of raw materials, components and semi-finished products at the right time and in the required quantity
• Contact suppliers regarding delivery times and production requirements
• Monitor inventory levels and manage inbound and outbound material flows
• Analyze sales forecasts and production plans to determine required material quantities and types
• Record unloading from stock of finished products and waste
• Support troubleshooting supply-chain issues, including delivery delays, material shortages and quality problems

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Engineering/Economics
• Basic knowledge of Supply Chain Management, including stock sizing, reordering levels and lead time
• Analysis and planning skills
• Ability to manage time and consistently meet deadlines
• Problem solving and flexibility
• Fluency in English
• Proficiency in the main MS Office tools
