Procurement Cost Engineering Specialist

Overview

In this role, you will drive cost estimation, control, and planning within the Procurement team to keep products competitive. You will collaborate with R&D and CM to guide cost reduction initiatives and standardize cost processes. You’ll own cost tables, should-cost analyses, and RFQ inputs, influencing decisions across departments. This role sits at the intersection of cost science and product development, shaping value-driven outcomes for the business.

Responsabilità

• Contribute to target cost definition
• Lead technical cost reduction activities in collaboration with R&D and CM
• Prepare cost planning and align it with targets
• Assign and monitor Value Analysis actions with R&D/CM/SE
• Create RFQ standard formats for input to cost tables
• Build and maintain Cost Tables for Should Cost Analysis
• Drive Teardown Cost Analysis for competitor BOM costs

Requisiti fondamentali

• Degree in Engineering (technological focus)
• Fluent English (written and spoken)
• 3–5 years in Cost Engineering or in R&D as a mechanical designer
