Position Title: Refrigeration Technician Salary Range: $18–$28/hour DOE + Heavy Overtime + Weekly Attendance Bonus If you know how to troubleshoot electrical and refrigeration systems and want a role where your skills directly impact a high-volume operation, this is an opportunity to step into a critical position with serious earning potential.

The Refrigeration Technician will maintain and troubleshoot HVAC and industrial refrigeration systems, diagnose electrical issues ranging from 24V controls to 480V three-phase power, and keep essential plant equipment operating safely and reliably.

The ideal candidate is a hands‑on problem solver with strong HVAC and electrical troubleshooting experience who is dependable, comfortable working in an industrial environment, and ready to learn ammonia refrigeration if they do not already have that experience.

Responsibilities Service, maintain, and troubleshoot HVAC systems supporting company apartments, offices, and plant operations Support the operation and maintenance of large‑scale industrial ammonia refrigeration systems Diagnose electrical issues ranging from 24V controls through 480V three‑phase systems Troubleshoot motor failures, identify root causes, and coordinate repairs or replacements Respond to refrigeration and equipment issues as part of the plant’s on‑call coverage Coordinate with outside contractors on major equipment installations, repairs and upgrades Perform preventative maintenance and help ensure refrigeration equipment remains safe, reliable and operational Requirements Strong electrical troubleshooting skills with experience working from 24V controls through 480V three‑phase power Hands‑on HVAC service and maintenance experience in residential, commercial or industrial environments Willingness and ability to work with industrial ammonia refrigeration systems, with training available for candidates without ammonia experience Ability to work safely in a seafood processing environment where odors, PPE, and occasional respirator use are part of the job Availability to work first shift beginning at 6:00 AM, with typical weekly schedules of approximately 60–65 hours including Saturdays Benefits Base pay of $18–$28 per hour depending on experience, with significant overtime earning potential Weekly attendance bonus of an additional $2 per hour for qualifying regular hours and $3 per hour on qualifying overtime hours Medical coverage, Life insurance, and AD
