An exciting oncology leadership opportunity! For an innovative international biotechnology company, we are currently looking for an experienced Senior Director, Corporate Affairs, Communications & Policy Advocacy (F/M/X) to build and lead the Corporate Affairs strategy in Italy and support the organization through an exciting period of growth and upcoming oncology launches.
Location: Milan, Italy | Hybrid role Our client is a late-stage clinical oncology company developing novel targeted therapies for patients with RAS-driven cancers. With several innovative compounds in advanced clinical development, the company is preparing for significant growth and transformation in Italy.
Your responsibilities Develop and execute the Corporate Affairs, Communications & Policy Advocacy strategy for Italy Lead media relations + build strong relationships with national, healthcare and trade media Drive communications around clinical data, regulatory milestones, major oncology congresses and product launches Shape corporate reputation, executive visibility and thought leadership in Italy Engage with policymakers, institutions and healthcare stakeholders on relevant Public Affairs topics Monitor the Italian healthcare and oncology policy environment and identify emerging risks and opportunities Lead oncology product and disease-awareness communications across pre-launch, launch and lifecycle activities Partner closely with the General Manager Italy as well as regional and global cross-functional teams Your profile 10+ years of experience in Corporate Communications and/or Public Affairs within oncology Strong understanding of the Italian healthcare, oncology and policy landscape Strong stakeholder network across media, policy, patient organizations and/or industry associations Experience with reimbursement, HTA and patient-access topics Excellent communication, storytelling and stakeholder-management skills Strategic, hands-on and comfortable working in a fast-growing biotech environment Fluent Italian and strong English skills What you can expect A highly visible leadership role within a fast-growing international biotechnology company The opportunity to build and shape the Corporate Affairs function in Italy A key role in preparing for innovative oncology launches Direct collaboration with senior country, European and global leadership A broad remit spanning Corporate Affairs, Communications, Public Affairs and Policy A hybrid position with an attractive compensation package Interested or know someone who might be a strong fit?
