Software Developer - Market Data Derivatives

Job Description Xchanging Italy, part of DXC Technology group, is looking for a Software Developer for join in Market Data and Derivatives. Responsibilities Analyze functional requirements and regulatory developments; Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications; Produce and maintain technical and functional documentation in line with company standards; Participate in testing, validation, and release activities; Provide application support and operational oversight for the services managed by the team; Requirements Degree or diploma in Computer Science or a related field; Previous experience in software development; Knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, REST Web Services, and SQL; Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Pentaho, PowerShell, and Java EE/Jakarta EE technologies; Knowledge of Application Security practices and OWASP guidelines; Knowledge of EMIR regulation and the financial services industry is a plus; Familiarity with code versioning systems and build automation tools (Maven/Gradle) and AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT); Good command of the English language.

Work Location: Milan (MI) with Smartworking possibility The position offers a gross annual base salary starting from €40.000.
