At this time of rapid expansion, TXT e-Tech, a company belonging to the TXT Group, is seeking a Software Engineer for its Aerospace & Aviation Business Unit, who will join the Modelling & Simulation team. The candidate, with at least 1 year’s experience, will be responsible for providing support to various clients in the field of training simulation within the aerospace, defence and transport sectors. Development of Windows-only desktop applications; Bug fixing and software maintenance; Drafting of all documentation; Application testing. Required technical

skills

Good Knowledge of object-oriented programming, particularly languages such as C#, Java, C++, Python or similar; Good Knowledge of key software development patterns; Basic knowledge of concurrent and asynchronous programming (multi-threading, locking, async-await, coroutines); Basic knowledge of the TCP/IP standard; Basic knowledge of relational databases and writing SQL queries; Knowledge of UI/UX development principles and front-end development (preferably the Microsoft stack).

Knowledge of the ARINC 429 protocol and graphical frameworks such as WinForms is a PLUS. Education: A diploma or degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. The ideal candidate has a strong aptitude for and curiosity about technology, is proactive and adept at problem-solving, and possesses good communication and organisational skills.

They are able to work both as part of a team and independently, organising their workload effectively. They are highly motivated to develop professionally and learn new skills, whilst also liaising directly with clients.
