The role is fully dedicated to project and program management activities, combining analytical capabilities with a solid understanding of transportation and planning processes to support data‑driven decision‑making and transformation delivery.
The position works in close collaboration with the Supply Chain Excellence Senior PMO, contributing to the execution of the transformation roadmap. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 h3Transportation Analytics Focus /h3 ul liSupport the analysis and optimization of Transportation Planning processes, including network flows, service levels and cost drivers. /li liContribute to the definition and monitoring of transportation KPIs (service level, lead time, transport cost, utilisation). /li liPerform data analysis to identify improvement opportunities and support decision‑making. /li liSupport the development of dashboards, reports and performance tracking tools. /li /ul h3Program Project Management /h3 ul liSupport the identification, structuring and execution of Supply Chain transformation initiatives, with a focus on transportation and analytics topics. /li liContribute to project planning, timeline definition and activity tracking. /li liMonitor milestones, risks and dependencies across initiatives. /li /ul h3Systems Data Support /h3 ul liSupport transformation initiatives involving Supply Chain systems and digital tools (e.g.
SAP IBP, PPDS, Transportation Management solutions or similar). /li liContribute to data validation, testing phases and rollout activities. /li liSupport data governance and ensure consistency across systems involved in transformation initiatives. /li /ul h3Stakeholder Vendor Coordination /h3 ul liCollaborate with stakeholders across Supply Chain, IT and other departments to ensure alignment and effective execution. /li liSupport coordination with external consultants and system integrators, particularly on transportation and analytics‑related topics. /li liFacilitate communication and follow‑up on project activities. /li /ul h3Governance Reporting /h3 ul liSupport preparation of project governance materials (status updates, steering committee presentations, action tracking). /li liContribute to benefit tracking and performance measurement of transformation initiatives. /li liEnsure structured documentation of initiatives, processes and outcomes. /li /ul h3What You Need To Succeed /h3 pExperience: Transportation Planning, Logistics or Planning Analytics, with exposure to Supply Chain in 1–3 years of experience.
Experience in Demand/Supply Planning is a plus but not mandatory. /p ul liGood understanding of transportation processes, logistics flows and cost drivers. /li liStrong analytical skills and ability to work with data (Excel, BI tools, reporting). /li liFamiliarity with Supply Chain systems (SAP IBP, PPDS, Transportation Management systems or similar) is a plus. /li liInitial exposure to projects, transformation initiatives or cross‑functional activities. /li /ul h3Must Have /h3 ul liStrong analytical and data‑driven mindset /li liInterest in transportation optimisation and Supply Chain analytics /li liStructured and organised approach /li liAbility to manage multiple priorities /li liProactive attitude and ownership /li liCommunication and stakeholder management skills /li /ul h3Employment Type /h3 pPermanent Contract; Full‑Time /p h3National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL) /h3 pMetalmeccanici Privati /p h3Minimum Gross Annual Salary /h3 p€30,000 /p h3Benefits /h3 ul liFree Canteen /li liSmart Working /li /ul pThe Company may offer a different compensation package than the one indicated above, based on objective criteria identified during the selection process (such as experience, skills or changes in the scope and responsibilities of the role).
