Test Engineer (R&D151)

Overview

As an R&D Test Engineer, you will design and maintain automated testing solutions to ensure quality, reliability, and performance of our products. You will collaborate with Developers, PMOs, DevOps, and QA to craft robust test strategies and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines. You will enhance testability and drive automated validation to improve release readiness. This role offers the chance to apply software engineering and quality practices in a dynamic, engineering-driven environment.

Responsabilità

• Define comprehensive test strategies from requirements
• Design, develop and maintain automated testing frameworks
• Increase test coverage via automation of functional, integration, regression and end-to-end tests
• Apply software engineering best practices (coding standards, version control, design patterns)
• Improve application testability and maintainability
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support CI/CD initiatives
• Enhance release readiness through automated validation and quality gates
• Collaborate in design reviews to ensure testability and adherence to standards
• Create and maintain documentation for automated tests, plans, and results

Requisiti fondamentali

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 1–3 years of experience in software automation testing or SDLC
• Fluent in Italian and English
• Strong analytical and debugging abilities
• Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Time management and planning
