Accounts Senior Location: Holmfirth / Huddersfield Salary: £35,000–£40,000 DOE A growing accountancy practice is looking for an experienced Accounts Senior to join its team. Apply promptly! This is a varied role with a strong focus on client service, career development and progression.

The Role You'll work with a diverse portfolio of clients, providing support across accounts, tax and general accounting services.

Key responsibilities include

Preparing year-end statutory accounts Preparing corporation and personal tax returns Bookkeeping and VAT returns Supporting and training junior team members Assisting with ad hoc accounting and client projects Building strong client relationships and providing a high level of service About You 5 years' accountancy practice experience AAT, ACA or ACCA qualified Strong experience preparing year-end accounts Confident and professional when dealing with clients Friendly, proactive and commercially minded Good communication and organisational skills Experience with IRIS, Sage, Xero or QuickBooks would be advantageous GCSE English and Maths at Grade 5 or above Benefits £30,000–£40,000 salary, depending on experience Excellent career progression and structured development Study support and mentoring Pay progression for exam success Above-average annual leave Birthday day off and additional service-based leave Flexible working hours Early finish on Fridays Free parking Bupa cash plan Company pension Charity day Regular team socials and events Friendly and supportive working environment
