Overview

In this Cardiff-based, VC-backed technology business, you will manage hands-on finance operations, ensure accurate accounting, and produce reliable month-end reporting. You will support audit preparation and contribute to board and investor reporting. There is scope to explore BI and AI enhancements to finance reporting and processes. You will work across transactional finance, balancing detail with value-driven improvements. You will join a hybrid team with three days in the office.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and controlled transactional finance
• Support month-end close and produce clear monthly reporting
• Prepare information and schedules for audit
• Identify improvements to reporting, BI, and AI adoption in finance
• Assist with board and investor reporting

Key requirements

• ACA finalist or recently qualified
• Experience in financial reporting and audit preparation
• Ability to work through supporting detail accurately
• Interest in better reporting, systems, and process improvement
• Open to practice or industry backgrounds; stay close to the detail while improving finance processes
