Accounts Administrator Salary: £27,000 per annum Job Type: Full-time Location: Norton Canes, Cannock Working Hours: 09:00 – 17:00 Job Description I Need Staff Today Limited, a recruitment agency based in Codsall, is recruiting on behalf of our client in Norton Canes, Cannock, for an experienced Accounts Administrator to join their team on a full-time basis.
We are looking for a reliable, organised and detail-oriented individual with previous accounts administration experience and a good working knowledge of Sage 50 . The successful candidate will support the day-to-day running of the accounts department, ensuring that financial records are accurate, transactions are processed efficiently and administrative tasks are completed within deadlines.
Key Responsibilities Providing day-to-day administrative support to the accounts department. Processing invoices and maintaining accurate financial records. Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable. Entering and updating financial information using Sage 50.
Reconciling account information and investigating discrepancies. Processing payments and monitoring outstanding invoices. Maintaining organised financial documentation and records. Responding to accounts-related queries from customers and suppliers.
Assisting with general administrative duties within the department. Requirements Previous experience using Sage 50 is essential. Previous experience in accounts administration or a similar finance-related role. Good understanding of basic accounting and financial administration.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good organisational and time-management skills. Competent IT skills and confidence working with financial systems. Good communication skills and a professional approach. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
