Overview

In this role you lead the design, governance and ongoing improvement of end-to-end procurement processes. You will drive the global transformation and deployment of SAP S/4HANA and SAP Ariba, aligning procurement with finance, IT and business partners. You’ll act as process authority, implement controls and support audits, while coaching teams to embed best practices. This is a high-visibility position shaping a world-class, automated S2S procurement model that delivers value and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain end-to-end procurement process framework (S2C and P2P) with maps, standards and controls
• Lead transformation and deployment of SAP S/4HANA and SAP Ariba; bridge procurement, finance, business and IT
• Ensure alignment with policies, controls and regulatory requirements; act as process authority
• Identify and drive opportunities to simplify and standardise procurement processes
• Lead continuous improvement using automation and digital procurement
• Collaborate with technology teams for system implementations and process redesign
• Embed risk management and define governance structures; support audits
• Engage with stakeholders across procurement, finance, legal and business lines; provide training
• Define and monitor process KPIs; report on performance and improvement initiatives
• Manage procurement staff, training and development; uphold integrity and corporate behaviours

Key requirements

• Degree level education; Masters or professional qualification desirable
• MCIPS or equivalent would be an advantage
• Proven high-value procurement experience across consultancy, IT services, IT hardware/software, HR, facilities and events
• Strong experience in procurement process design, optimization and transformation
• Extensive experience with SAP Ariba and SAP, including implementations or optimizations
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• Change management capability; problem solving and sound business judgment
• Fluent English; ability to motivate teams and coordinate multiple stakeholders
• Experience with fiduciary responsibility and good governance; segregation of duties awareness
