We need someone who loves creating fresh, stunning looksfrom protective styles and braids to crochet, weaves, and locs. If you take pride in enhancing natural beauty and love making clients look and feel amazing, youll fit right in.
DutiesProvide a full range of Afro-Caribbean hair styling servicesPerform hair washes, treatments, blow-dry, and straighteningOffer additional advice and guidance on caring for Afro-textured hairEngage with clients to understand their preferences and provide tailored recommendations.
Upsell products and services to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitised and ready for use. ExperienceDemonstrable experience with braiding, particularly of Afro-textured hairExperience with weave, crochet, pick & drop, wigs, and other non-braid stylesStrong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Personal style and appearance that elevates the salon environmentProficiency in cutting Afro-textured hair is highly desirable. Familiarity with proper care for Afro hair is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and team members.
A passion for the beauty industry and staying updated on the latest styles, trends, and techniques.
