The Bristol team is a growing part of that picture, a dedicated group of rural specialists. For a junior lawyer with an interest in the countryside, farming, and landed estates, this is a rare chance to start building a career with the backing of a national heavyweight.

The workYou will be part of the transactional agricultural team, advising farmers, landowners, landed estates, and agri-businesses on the full range of rural real estate matters. Your caseload will include:Farm and estate acquisitions and disposalsRefinancing and secured lending workRenewable energy projects, including solar, wind, and battery storageNatural capital and environmental agreementsEquestrian property mattersLanded estate property managementYou will draft and negotiate contracts, deeds, and advice notes, working directly with clients and their other advisers from an early stage.

You will be supported by a team that understands the sector inside out, many of them with farming backgrounds, Fellows of the Agricultural Law Association, and rural expertise. You will also get involved in marketing and networking, building your own profile within the South West's agricultural community.

About youYou are a newly or recently qualified solicitor, with up to four years' experience and a demonstrable interest in agriculture and estates work. You have strong drafting skills, attention to detail, and a commercial, client-focused approach.

You are organised, adaptable, and keen to learn from a team of specialists.
