This opportunity is aimed at experienced AI Engineers who have already built and deployed Generative AI applications in commercial environments and are looking to work on complex AI challenges at scale. The RoleAs an AI Engineer, you'll design, develop and deploy production-grade AI solutions, working across the full lifecycle from experimentation through to operational deployment.

You'll be responsible for building and enhancing applications powered by Large Language Models, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and agentic AI architectures, whilst ensuring solutions are reliable, scalable, secure and cost-effective.

Key responsibilities include

Building production-ready Generative AI applications using LLMsDesigning and implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architecturesDeveloping agentic AI workflows and multi-step orchestration solutionsIntegrating AI products with APIs, data platforms and business systemsEvaluating and optimising model performance, accuracy, latency and costDeploying, monitoring and supporting AI solutions in production environmentsCollaborating with stakeholders to identify opportunities where AI can deliver measurable business valueEssential ExperienceTo be considered, you'll need demonstrable commercial experience in several of the following areas: Building and deploying LLM-powered applicationsRetrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)AI Agents and agentic workflowsLangChain, LangGraph or similar AI orchestration frameworksPrompt engineering and LLM evaluationEmbeddings, vector databases and semantic searchModel APIs including OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI or equivalent platformsPython development in production environmentsAPI development and system integrationsCloud-based AI deployments across Azure, AWS or GCPMonitoring, observability and evaluation of AI systemsDesirable ExperienceMulti-agent architecturesLLM testing and evaluation frameworksAI governance, security or responsible AI practicesWorkflow automation platformsMLOps and AI deployment pipelinesExperience working with regulated or complex operational environmentsAbout YouWe're looking for someone who is already building AI solutions rather than simply experimenting with AI tools.
