AI/ML Computational Scientist

Overview

In this role you design, build, and operate AI/ML solutions for enterprise clients, combining custom models with cloud and third-party AI services to deliver production-ready outcomes. You own the full solution lifecycle—from assessing needs to deploying scalable DevOps/MLOps pipelines and ensuring value and reliability of deployed systems. You will work with DL, Gen AI, and LLMs to solve real business problems, often collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate into production. This is an impact-driven opportunity to shape AI strategy at scale within a leading global firm.

Responsibilities

• Formulate real-world problems into scalable AI/ML solutions
• Develop and implement ML algorithms and scalable data pipelines for training and production with DevOps/MLOps
• Customize DL and Gen AI models for diverse use cases based on business needs and infrastructure
• Engage in R&D of new AI and HPC algorithms and their client applications
• Handle large-scale datasets and apply data preprocessing for high-quality inputs
• Implement and maintain efficient data storage and retrieval for models and knowledge
• Justify chosen model approaches in business contexts
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to achieve end-to-end goals and production integration

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Proven experience deploying ML models in production at scale with monitoring, alerts, and auditing
• Experience with distributed computing, big data, and cloud-based AI/ML deployments
• Hands-on AI/ML software in cloud environments
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Client-facing skills in a consulting environment
• Cross-functional collaboration
• Python; TensorFlow; PyTorch
• Experience with LLM APIs and optimizing their usage
• Programming languages: Python, C++, Java, R, SQL
