AI Product Manager – Development & Tech TransferLocation: Slough, United Kingdom Leads AI products and opportunities across Development & Technology Transfer, combining strong understanding of biopharmaceutical process development and manufacturing with AI product leadership.

Access to global benefits via What you will do:Understands the end-to-end development and technology transfer lifecycle, from process development and characterization through scale-up, transfer, validation and manufacturing readiness.

Works with scientists, engineers and manufacturing SMEs to identify where AI can improve process understanding, prediction and decision-making, rather than simply digitizing existing activities. Translates scientific and process challenges into AI product requirements, working closely with AI Engineering, Data Science, Data and platform teams.

Plans and facilitates delivery rhythm of the Fusion Team assigned to an AI opportunity, including maintaining a prioritized backlog focused on high-value workDrives the opportunity through defined lifecycle stages, ensuring required deliverables and evidence are ready for stage-gate decisionsDevelops continuously own AI product & delivery expertise, staying current with relevant practices and sharing insights with other AI Product ManagersSupports the AI Product Lead with roadmap alignment & stakeholder reporting, keeping AI opportunity progress & priorities visible across the organizationWhat we are looking for:Experience in Process Development, MSAT, Technology Transfer, Manufacturing Science/Engineering or a closely related biopharma areaExperience with digital, data or AI-enabled products/solutionsStrong understanding of biopharmaceutical process development, scale-up and technology transferAble to work credibly with scientists, engineers, MSAT and manufacturing teamsComfortable working across different modalities and identifying opportunities for reuseStrong scientific and analytical mindsetAble to challenge assumptions and connect patterns across processes and modalitiesAbout LonzaAt Lonza, our people are our greatest strength.
