Duties

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on refrigeration units and air conditioning systems to ensure peak performance.
• Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to troubleshoot issues accurately.
• Lead maintenance activities by coordinating schedules, supervising technicians, and ensuring safety protocols are followed during equipment repair or installation.
• Conduct construction-related tasks involving refrigeration systems, including system upgrades or new installations in line with project specifications.
• Diagnose mechanical problems using mechanical knowledge and technical skills to identify root causes quickly.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and system performance logs for accountability and future reference.
• Collaborate with other departments to plan and execute large-scale equipment upgrades or system replacements efficiently.

Requirements

• Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in repairing and maintaining refrigeration equipment.
• Ability to read and understand schematics, electrical diagrams, and technical manuals related to HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning) systems.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising or guiding maintenance teams or contractors.
• Strong background in equipment repair, troubleshooting complex refrigeration issues swiftly and effectively.
• Experience working with air conditioning systems as part of comprehensive HVAC responsibilities.
• Knowledge of maintenance best practices for refrigeration units within commercial or industrial settings.
• Construction experience related to installing or upgrading refrigeration infrastructure is highly desirable.
