Air Conditioning Engineer

Overview

In this role you will install air conditioning systems across Hertfordshire for residential and commercial properties, focusing on high-quality, local projects. You will work with cross-functional teams to implement split, multi-split and VRF/VRV systems, ensuring proper commissioning and handover. You’ll apply your F-Gas certification and strong installation knowledge to deliver reliable climate control solutions and excellent customer service. This is a locally oriented, growth-minded opportunity with clear progression into senior roles.

Responsibilities

• Install air conditioning systems across Hertfordshire
• Work on residential and commercial installations
• Install split, multi-split and VRF/VRV systems
• Install indoor and outdoor units, refrigeration pipework and components
• Carry out pressure testing, vacuuming and refrigerant charging
• Complete electrical connections and controls wiring
• Support system commissioning and handover
• Read and interpret installation drawings and specifications
• Collaborate with Contracts Managers and installation teams
• Maintain high workmanship standards and customer service

Key requirements

• Valid F-Gas qualification
• Strong knowledge of split, multi-split and VRF/VRV systems
• Experience installing Mitsubishi Electric, Daikin, Toshiba or similar equipment
• Good refrigeration pipework and electrical knowledge
• Able to work independently or as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Good customer-facing skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Ideally based in Hertfordshire
