Job Title: Alternative Provision Teaching Assistant Location: NG21 Start Date: Immediate Start Do you have experience working with children and young people with challenging behaviour or SEMH needs? Are you looking for a full-time Alternative Provision Teaching Assistant role with the opportunity to become permanent?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with an fantastic Alternative provision in the Mansfield area, supporting with their recruitment for a passionate and experienced Teaching Assistant. This setting provides a supportive and nurturing environment for students who may struggle within mainstream education, focusing on building confidence, engagement and positive relationships to help young people achieve their potential.

The provision is looking to take on a full-time Alternative Provision Teaching Assistant on a temporary to permanent basis with an immediate start. The successful Alternative Provision Teaching Assistant will be supporting students on both a 1:1 basis and within small groups, helping to manage behaviour, encourage engagement and support students with their social and emotional development throughout the school day.
