Job Description Aspiring Educational Psychologist | Newham | Immediate StartAre you a Psychology graduate considering a future in Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Speech & Language Therapy or wider NHS-based services?

A highly inclusive primary school in Newham is seeking an Aspiring Educational Psychologist to join immediately on a full-time basis until July 2027.This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain first-hand experience supporting children with Autism, ADHD, SEMH needs and speech and language difficulties.

The school places significant emphasis on early identification and targeted intervention, with the inclusion team working closely with class teachers, families and external professionals to ensure pupils receive appropriate support.

You will gain meaningful exposure to the practical strategies used to support children's learning, emotional regulation, communication and social development. You will work closely with teachers and the SEND team to implement individual support strategies, monitor progress and build positive relationships with pupils who require additional guidance throughout the school day. The Ideal CandidateHolds a 2:1 or above in Psychology or a related discipline from a leading UK universityHas previous child-centred experience through mentoring, tutoring, coaching or care-based workDemonstrates excellent communication skills and emotional intelligenceHas a genuine interest in child development, SEND and psychological practiceRibbons & Reeves is one of London's leading Education Recruitment agencies.
